The live telecast of the launch of BharatVistaar - a multilingual AI-based conversational advisory system for the agriculture sector was organized at ICAR-CIWA on 17 February 2026. The advisory system was launched by Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan Ji Honourable Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare and Rural Development in the presence of Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma Ji, Honourable Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Bhagirath Choudhary Ji Honourable Union Minister of State for Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare, Shri Kirodi Lal Meena Ji Honourable Agriculture Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Devesh Chaturvedi Ji, Secretary, Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India. Dr. M.L. Jat, Honourable Secretary, DARE and DG, ICAR participated in the programme through Video Conferencing. This programme at ICAR-CIWA was organized with 164 participants (94 Men and 70 Women) who watched the programme in the Annapurna Conference Hall. Sixteen numbers of Sarpanch from Pipli and Nimapara blocks of Puri district of Odisha also participated in this event. All the staff of ICAR-CIWA along with the farmers and VIPs watched this event. The event included a live demonstration of the Bharti AI platform (dialing 155261) and featured the introduction of the "AI for Agriculture Roadmap," an AI Hackathon, and "AgriKosh".
