Infrastructure Facilities

Agricultural Knowledge Management Unit: The Institute is having well developed Agricultural Knowledge Management Unit with facilities of internet and latest data analysis software like SAS and SPSS. A Video Conferencing System has been procured.

E-connectivity: The whole Institute is having round the clock broadband /optical fibre cable based internet connectivity over Local Area Network.

Institute Technology Management Unit: The Institute is having Institute Technology Management Unit with necessary facilities for IPR and commercialization of institute's technologies.

Class Rooms: The institute has conference hall with seating capacity of 150 and two committee rooms with seating capacity of 40 each in addition to well equipped training hall and with the provision of LCD and other audiovisual aids.

Institute Farm: In total 32 acre Institutional area, 15 acre area under different horticultural & field crops as well as livestock & fisheries covering experiments under various disciplines is available at institute. The institute has well developed demonstration units for various agro-enterprises including horticulture based cropping modes , vermicomposting unit, integrated fish-poultry-duck-unit and ornamental fish unit. Micro irrigation facility is expanded to 5 acre of land.

Residential Quarters: The institute is having 9 residential quarters in the campus consisting of Type-VI(1), Type-V(2), Type-IV(2), Type-III(2) & Type-II(2) quarters.

Laboratories: Well equipped laboratories in the fiend of entomology, ergonomics, post harvest technology, horticulture, seed technology, animal science, fisheries and gender data centre are available in the institute.

Trainees' Hostel: Trainees' hostel is having two VIP rooms, Seven air condition rooms with 14 beds and one non-air-conditioned dormitory of 10 beds which are equipped with all the necessary facilities.

Training-cum-manufacturing Unit: Training -cum-manufacturing Unit has been established under project Rastriya Krishi Vikash Yojana. Machines have been procured and installed in the unit the raw material have been purchased for fabrication of women friendly farm tools and equipment is at the Institute is under progress.
