DRWA Organized Training cum Awareness programme on ‘Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers Right’

The Directorate of Research on Women in Agriculture (DRWA), Bhubaneswar organized Training cum Awareness programme on ‘Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers Right’ on 29th March, 2014. About 100 participants had attended the programme including farm women/farmers and scientists of DRWA, CTCRI, CHES, CARI and OUAT, Bhubaneswar. Prof. Baburam Singh, Convener, IPR Cell of OUAT had delivered a talk on the above topic. This was followed by the scientists-cum-farmwomen interface and field visit. All the participants showed enthusiasm in the activities undertaken by the DRWA.
